Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years experience and required CRT/Fluoro, venipuncture, and BLS certifications.
Details
- CT Scan unit performing CT, general radiography, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging
- Day shift, 3x12s with rotating schedule including 2 weekend shifts and 1 weekday shift per week
- Weekend shifts run 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM and weekday shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- One weekend shift per month and at least 8 weekday shifts per month required
- On-call responsibilities included
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, though candidates with less experience may be considered
- ARRT registration required: R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)
- Radiologic Technologist license required in state of employment (license required if applicable)
- Fluoroscopy license required if performing fluoroscopy procedures (license required if applicable)
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience required
- Must be able to care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations
Additional Information
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images appropriately
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA
- Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior licensure action will not be considered
