Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT registration or registry eligibility and advanced CT certification.
Details
- Computed Tomography department at an academic medical center
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- No on-call required
- Weekend schedule required
- Uses EPIC EMR, PACS, and IMPAX service tools
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
- Registered with ARRT or registry eligible (must provide diploma copy if registry eligible)
- Advanced certification in CT required
- Must obtain registry status within one year of employment if registry eligible and maintain annually
- Current BLS certification required
- Siemens equipment experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Conduct CT procedures and tests, including image acquisition, manipulation, and multi-planar/3D reconstruction
- Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and document pregnancy status per protocol
- Administer oral and IV contrast to adult and pediatric patients following safety protocols
- Transmit and verify images through PACS and EPIC, ensuring accurate charge and demographic information
- Precept new employees and students
- Must be able to work UNC holidays if needed
