Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 74-bed facility located on the banks of Lake Erie. As a STNA with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, helping them to reach their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed nurses with the delivery of patient care, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide support with feeding, toileting, and ambulation, while promoting independence and dignity for our residents

• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper storage and disposal of supplies

• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and other mobility needs, as needed

• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and residents, promoting open communication and collaboration

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed

• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, while maintaining a positive attitude and work environment
