Assembler

Mechanical & electrical assembly, soldering with SMT and TH components

· Produces assemblies and sub-assemblies by assembling parts and components.

· Reads and utilizes work instructions.

· Uses hand tools or soldering irons to assemble parts.

· Conducts quality control checks with inspection and tests.

· Practices Lean 5S techniques such as cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment, including tools.

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

· Solder through-hole wires and components to PCBA.

· Read and follow ISO9000 work instructions.

· Escalate issues to Team Lead or Supervisor.

· Recommend process improvements to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies.

Glue units closed using 2-part methacrylate adhesive.
