Controls Engineer

Job Description:
Design control systems for inhouse built equipment and automation,
including: Hardware Specification, Schematics, Panel Layout, and BOM.

Write and maintain programs for various inhouse equipment and

automation. Including, but not limited to, PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Drives and
Industrial networks.

Member of the team to Design equipment and automation for new and
existing processes and equipment.

Key member of the team to review equipment efficiency and utilization
to help identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities

Participate with the Maintenance department in troubleshooting and
supporting existing equipment when required
Develop and write operating, setup, maintenance procedures

" BSEE degree or equivalent experience
" 5 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls
" PLC & HMI programming
" Working knowledge of VFD drives and servos
" Robotic programming a plus
" Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
" Familiar with machine safety standards
" Analytical skills
" Proficiency with 2D CAD software (3D a plus)
" Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics a plus
" Mechanical aptitude
" Machine vision a plus
" Detail oriented
" Good communication skills
" Good organizational skills
" Adaptability
