Job Title: AI Engineer

Location: Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, or Urbandale, IA preferred.

Aquent Studios is seeking a driven and innovative AI Engineer to accelerate AI adoption and capability building for a world-class enterprise client. In this dynamic role, you will act as the core architect and operator of shared AI enablement solutions, turning high-value use cases into scalable, reusable assets across the organization. By engineering the foundational tools, agents, and workflows that empower teams, you will directly shape how modern AI capabilities are integrated and leveraged at scale, driving innovation, speed, and efficiency across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain a centralized hub for enterprise AI skills, agents, workflows, and starter templates.
• Partner closely with embedded AI coaches and enablement leaders to capture, package, and scale successful team-level solutions into enterprise-ready assets.
• Create comprehensive onboarding resources, documentation, and best-practice frameworks to accelerate team adoption.
• Manage intake, prioritization, tracking, and release management for AI enablement requests and shared technical assets.
• Establish metrics to monitor solution adoption, preserve asset quality, and continuously refine user experience.
• Drive technical innovation and collaboration to eliminate redundant effort across departments and elevate organizational AI maturity.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Python programming and engineering workflows.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern AI Frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
• Demonstrated experience working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and Vector Databases.
• Expertise with Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and harness engineering.
• Strong background in source control and collaboration using GitHub.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and collaborate effectively in across cross-functional environments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Experience with Big Data processing platforms (e.g., Databricks).
• Practical knowledge of multi-agent system design and development.
