We are looking for a Paralegal to join a litigation team supporting medical malpractice and personal injury matters in Baltimore, Maryland. This position plays an active role in case development, client communication, document preparation, and day-to-day litigation support. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and experienced in handling medical records and procedural requirements within a busy legal environment.

Responsibilities:
• Support attorneys throughout discovery by preparing requests, reviewing incoming materials, and flagging issues that need legal follow-up.
• Track, organize, and maintain pleadings, correspondence, evidence, and related documents within the firm’s electronic case management platform.
• Build case files by reviewing records, assembling exhibits, summarizing key information, and helping prepare materials for hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court staff to obtain information and keep matters moving forward.
• Monitor calendars and litigation deadlines to help ensure timely filings and compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.
• Oversee the collection, review, and organization of medical records relevant to personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
• Prepare draft legal documents, disclosures, and supporting materials with close attention to accuracy, formatting, and procedural requirements.
• Provide reliable support to external contacts by responding to routine procedural questions and facilitating case-related logistics.• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a paralegal studies certificate program.
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a litigation setting.
• Hands-on background supporting personal injury matters and working extensively with medical records.
• Ability to manage filings, deadlines, and procedural tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to balance multiple active cases at once.
• Working knowledge of civil litigation processes, discovery practices, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency with case management systems, electronic filing tools, and document management software.
