Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–8:00 PM
Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year (DOE)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our healthcare team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PET/CT and SPECT imaging and a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and accurate diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Operate nuclear medicine and imaging equipment according to established protocols.
  • Verify patient information, clinical history, and physician orders.
  • Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and perform appropriate quality checks.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns or reactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain equipment and report any technical issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT/CNMT) certification or registration.
  • Hands-on PET/CT experience – REQUIRED.
  • Hands-on SPECT experience – REQUIRED.
  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and radiation safety.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent patient-care skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a healthcare team.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $90,000–$115,000 annual salary
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
