Position Title: Production Inserting Operator

Location: Troy, MI 48084

Position Type: 100% Onsite

Duration: 3 months contract and Possible Extension

Schedule: M-F 7:00AM – 3:30PM EST No OT

Pay Rate: $21/hour

Job Description:

The Production Inserting Operator works with mechanical inserting equipment to prepare documents for mailing. Typical responsibilities include:

• Start the day by turning on and calibrating inserting equipment.
• Load printed materials into the inserting machine.
• Operate equipment that folds documents, inserts them into envelopes, and seals the envelopes.
• Load sealed mail into mail trays.
• Apply protective sleeves to completed mail trays.
• Stack completed trays neatly on skids.
• Mark completed jobs as “done” in the tracking system.
• At the end of the day, shrink-wrap completed skids and prepare them for the next morning's pickup.
• Communicate with the team regarding daily priorities.
• Follow instructions and established production procedures.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter
• Experience with USPS postal regulations is strongly preferred
