Job Description
We are looking for a Flu Clinic Inventory Assistant to support clinic operations through device readiness, supply organization, and responsive frontline assistance in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable balancing inventory control with basic technical support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The person in this role will help keep tablets, jetpacks, and administrative materials prepared for daily clinic use while serving as a dependable resource for staff during clinic activities.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming calls during clinic operations and provide timely assistance to staff members who need support.
• Address routine questions as an initial point of contact and escalate more complex matters to the appropriate team members when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of tablets and jetpacks issued to clinic personnel to support reliable inventory control.
• Prepare devices for deployment by packing and unpacking equipment, confirming full battery charge, and readying items for staff use.
• Clean and sanitize tablets and jetpacks between clinic sessions to help maintain proper equipment condition.
• Provide basic technical assistance for tablets, including support with connectivity, login access, and application performance issues.
• Help resolve common jetpack problems such as charging concerns and network connection issues.
• Reset, restock, and organize administrative supply bags after each clinic to ensure they are fully prepared for the next event.• Experience with inventory tracking and maintaining accurate equipment or supply records.
• Ability to complete training and apply it to troubleshoot common tablet-related issues.
• Comfortable providing basic technical support for mobile devices and connectivity tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prepare, clean, and manage equipment efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to assist staff in a detail-oriented, service-oriented manner.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and route unresolved problems to the appropriate personnel.
