Manager of Diagnostic Imaging - Acute Care

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to provide operational and clinical leadership for a comprehensive hospital-based Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging department in Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a full-time day-shift leadership opportunity with no weekend requirements for an experienced imaging professional who can lead teams, optimize imaging workflows, support quality and patient safety, and manage operations across multiple diagnostic imaging modalities.

The ideal candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader with recent acute-care imaging leadership experience and a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams. ~DW

Schedule / Shift: Day shift | Full-time | No weekends

Department Oversight:

The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging will provide leadership and operational oversight across:

• Radiology
• CT – Computed Tomography
• MRI
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine
• Mammography

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of recent acute-care imaging leadership experience.
• Leadership experience must be recent, preferably within the past year.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Current ARRT or ARDMS certification required.
• Current Texas State License required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to support staff development and professional growth.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent managerial experience.
• Experience managing multiple diagnostic imaging modalities.
• Acute-care hospital imaging leadership experience.
• Experience with Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography.
• Experience with imaging workflow optimization.
• Experience with staff recruitment and retention.
• Experience with quality improvement and accreditation requirements.
• Strong physician and interdisciplinary relationship-management experience.
