Front Office

• Verify patient eligibility and ensure all demographic/insurance information is complete and accurate (especially for new patients).
  
• Monitor patient registration through Phreesia; provide tablets and direct assistance to patients who need to complete their intake data prior to appointments.
  
• Rotate as a waiting room floater to sit with and support patients navigating digital registration paperwork.
  
• Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and process end-of-visit check-outs.
  
• Schedule follow-up appointments and scan patient images and documents into the system.
  
• Ensure primary care physician (PCP) letters are sent out, insurance authorizations are completed, and paperwork is submitted to 3rd party partners (Verisma).
  
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment and deliver top-tier customer service in a high-volume office setting.
  

• Minimum 1 full year of medical front desk experience in a high-volume practice (Dental/Vision experience does not translate).
  
• Strong foundational knowledge of medical insurance types and eligibility verification.
  
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and intake tools; experience with Aprima and Phreesia strongly preferred.
  
• Team-first attitude with a strong track record of reliable attendance.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Flexibility to train off-site (e.g., Placentia) for the first few weeks and occasionally float to nearby clinic locations (such as Irvine, Placentia, Fountain Valley, Los Alamitos, or Yorba Linda) as coverage requires.
  
• Must pass background check and drug screen; scrub attire required (solid colors).
  

• Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume medical office environment.
  

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  

• $23 - $25 / hour (DOE)
