We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial facilities throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC and building systems across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial facilities experience and the ability to work independently while maintaining safe and efficient building operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC and building systems.
• Travel between assigned facilities to inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Service mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including inspections, cleaning, calibration, and component replacement.
• Monitor and maintain boilers, cooling towers, and other critical building systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record equipment readings and complete maintenance documentation.
• Support contractor oversight and verify quality of work performed by outside vendors.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment required for daily operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Identify potential facility hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with commercial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment failures.
• Experience working independently in a mobile or field service environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Trade school or technical training in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems.
• Experience supporting multiple commercial facilities.

Work Environment

This is a mobile facilities maintenance position supporting multiple commercial properties throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. The role is heavily focused on HVAC preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with additional responsibilities supporting electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. No installation work is required. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities as business needs require. Work is performed in commercial buildings, mechanical rooms, and rooftop environments where adherence to safety procedures is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Paoli, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
