Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas
• Clean restrooms, offices, common areas, hallways, and other facility spaces
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Restock cleaning supplies and restroom essentials as needed
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
• Utilize cleaning equipment, chemicals, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Adapt to changing priorities and facility needs

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, cleaning, or environmental services experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Effective communication skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

This Housekeeper position requires the ability to:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning supplies and equipment
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Wear required PPE and work uniform as needed
