Mammography Technologist

Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Pay: $40,000 to $51,000 Annually (DOE)

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Mammography Technologists to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while providing high-quality imaging and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong mammography experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Position patients appropriately and operate mammography equipment.
• Evaluate images for quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Use PACS and EMR systems for documentation and image management.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide compassionate care.
• Follow radiation safety, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
• Manage workflow efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Provide coverage across multiple locations as needed.
• Handle approximately 17–25 patients per day.

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(M) certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• 3–5 years of mammography experience preferred/required.
• Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Proficiency with mammography equipment, PACS, and EMR systems.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Strong communication, patientcare, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with patient positioning throughout the workday.
