Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess acute care experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Schedule- Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
- Every 4th weekend required
The COTA will be responsible for delivering general acute care, including:
- Medical and surgical support
- Orthopedic care
- Neurological practices
- Neurosurgery assistance
- Cardiac care
- Critical care management
- Support within an Acute Rehab Facility, focusing on an average length of stay of 2 weeks
- Working with a high percentage of stroke patients
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification
- Current Minnesota license
- Travelers must have a primary residence at least 25 miles away from the facility
