Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Aberdeen, MD. Drivers can expect consistent, year-round work hauling freight from distribution centers to stores & depots in 53 ft dry van trailers. Compensation

• Average gross weekly pay: $1,900 to $2,100
  • Paid 55-69 CPM based on experience
  • Additional 10 CPM for regional routes
  • Paid all miles, loaded and unloaded
  • Average of 2,500 miles weekly
• Additional pay:
  • Extra stop pay
  • Overnight pay: $75
  • Premium 6th day pay: $200
• Bonuses:
  • $6,000 Sign-on bonus (paid over first 180 days)
  • $4,000 Employee referral bonus (paid over 180 days)
  • Safety bonus opportunities
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home weekends and home at least once during the week 
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Occasional Saturday work required
• Shift: Night shift starting around 5-6pm
• Route: Within a 600 mile radius of Aberdeen, MD
• Level of Touch: No touch freight, 95% drop & hook

Equipment

• Late model Freightliner trucks 
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 65 mph 
• Inward & outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system
• In-house mechanics at distribution centers

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have a clean driving record with no major accidents
• No alcohol or drug-related convictions
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Aberdeen, MD
