Senior Addiction Counselor

We are seeking a Full Time Senior Addiction Counselor to join our team at Cornerstone of Rhinebeck, an inpatient chemical dependency treatment program for adults. As a Senior Counselor, you will work directly with patients, providing guidance and support to help them achieve and maintain recovery. Work Schedule:

• Sunday - Thursday (Evening Hours)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients, focusing on their specific needs and goals

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with primary clinicians

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and progress

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay current on best practices in addiction treatment

Requirements:

• Must have a CASAC or above certification

• Experience in group and individual counseling, with a focus on addiction treatment

• Computer literacy, with experience with electronic medical records a plus

• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
