Job Summary
Are you an experienced welder who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work? We're seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MIG welding experience, can read blueprints and weld symbols, and is comfortable working with welding tools and fabrication equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
- MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
- Welding Setup: Set up welding equipment and select the proper materials for assigned work.
- Material Preparation: Grind, cut, and prepare materials for welding.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Fabrication Support: Use welding tools and fabrication equipment to complete assigned work according to specifications.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and guidelines.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Must have 1+ year of MIG welding experience.
- Welding training, certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
- Familiarity with welding tools and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper protective equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- MIG Welding: Ability to perform accurate and consistent MIG welds.
