In-home Aide PCA/CNA - part time

Location: Mint Hill, NC 28227
Position Type: Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (12:30PM - 4:00PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dependable In-Home Care Aide to provide personal care and daily living assistance to a client in their home.

The ideal caregiver should be comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, basic household tasks, and meal-area cleanup while maintaining the client's comfort, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

???? Personal Care & Bathing

• Assist with tub bathing/showering
• Provide basic skin care, including face, hands, and feet
• Assist with dressing and undressing
• Help the client put on and remove shoes and clothing
• Hang and retrieve clothing as needed
• Provide nail care

???? Medication Support

• Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan

???? Household & Laundry Assistance

• Change bed linens
• Complete on-site laundry tasks
• Tidy and clean the bathroom
• Empty trash
• Help maintain a clean and organized living environment

????️ Meal & Eating Assistance

• Open food packages as needed
• Clean the meal service area
• Wash and clean utensils and dishes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or In-Home Care Aide preferred
• Reliable and punctual
• Compassionate and respectful toward clients
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Able to assist with bathing and transfers
• Able to follow the client's care plan and agency instructions
• Must meet all agency requirements and maintain required caregiver documentation
• Current TB test required
