Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Dallas, TX

Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift: OT Offered on Both Shifts!

1st Shift | Monday-Friday 5:45 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift | Monday–Friday 3:45 PM - 12:30 AM

Pay:

$20/hr on 1st shift

$21/hr on 2nd shift

General Purpose:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and subassemblies used in enclosures for data centers. This role requires the ability to follow detailed instructions, interpret technical drawings, and ensure all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The assembler may also perform minor repairs and assist with troubleshooting production issues.

Principal Accountabilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
Assemble mechanical components, panels, frames, brackets, and enclosures according to specifications.
Perform mechanical fitting, fastening, drilling, tapping, torqueing, and alignment of components.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Install hardware, brackets, hinges, rails, and mechanical support systems into enclosures and assemblies.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and component placement using measuring instruments.
Assist with layout and preparation of materials and subassemblies for production.
Perform modifications, adjustments, and minor fabrication as needed to meet engineering requirements.
