What You’ll Do:
- Provide hands-on automotive technical training
- Teach proper diagnostic and repair procedures
- Train students in preventive maintenance and light repair
- Teach brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, engine performance, HVAC, and other automotive systems
- Demonstrate proper use of diagnostic equipment and shop tools
- Teach dealership workflow, repair orders, inspections, and technician productivity
- Reinforce shop safety and professional standards
- Evaluate student progress and technical competency
- Mentor students as they progress toward becoming productive dealership technicians
- Help develop training curriculum based on real-world dealership operations
What We're Looking For:
- Automotive Technician experience required – a minimum of 5 years preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- ASE Master Technician certification is a plus
- Toyota or other manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to teach technicians with different experience levels
- Passion for developing people and building successful technicians
- Valid driver's license
