Position Summary
We are seeking a Legal Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of legal projects and initiatives within a non-profit organization. This role will coordinate stakeholders, monitor project timelines and deliverables, maintain documentation, and support efficient execution of legal and organizational priorities. The position is part-time and hybrid in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Main Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and track legal projects, initiatives, and deliverables.
Coordinate with attorneys, internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, priorities, and action items.
Maintain project documentation, status reports, trackers, and records.
Support legal and organizational initiatives while ensuring alignment with established processes.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delays, and escalate issues as needed.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, follow-ups, and project updates.
Support multiple projects and priorities in a non-profit environment.
General Requirements
Experience in legal project management, project coordination, or a related role.
Previous experience working with non-profit organizations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 and project tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Availability to work part-time in a hybrid environment in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in project management, legal operations, legal project coordination, or a related area.
Demonstrated experience working in or supporting a non-profit organization.
Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables.
