Housekeeper

Navigator Homes of Martha’s Vineyard is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents and team members. This role performs daily cleaning throughout the homes and reports maintenance or safety concerns to the Director of Environmental Services.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and shared areas daily.

• Identify and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.

• Collect trash, disinfect and reline trash cans.

• Dust walls, lampshades, and other surfaces.

• Refill paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched items, including light switches, remote controls, lamps, and call bells.

• Complete other related cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and work respectfully in residents’ homes.

• Dependability and the ability to communicate concerns to a supervisor.
