Location: Central PA | Multi-Site Coverage & Regional Travel Required
Salary: $120,000–$135,000 annually
Reports To: VP of Business Development
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Director of Business Development to lead census and q-mix growth across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Pennsylvania, including Camp Hill, Gettysburg, Lancaster, and surrounding areas.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building relationships with hospital systems, managed care organizations, physician groups, and community referral sources while leading and mentoring facility-level business development teams.
What You'll Do
Own the business development strategy and performance for multiple SNF locations across an assigned Pennsylvania region.
Build and manage referral relationships with hospital discharge planning, case management, ACOs, physician groups, and other community referral sources.
Recruit, train, and manage Central Admissions, Clinical Liaisons, Community Marketers, and Facility-Based Admissions Directors.
Establish and monitor KPIs for conversion rates, response times, referral source development, and census growth.
Analyze PointClickCare and CRM/referral data to track performance, referral trends, and payer mix.
Partner with regional and facility administrators and nursing leadership to align facility capabilities with referral demand.
Manage payer and managed care relationships and support compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care requirements.
Represent the organization at industry events and referral source functions.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and reimbursement changes that may affect referral flow.
Report regularly to executive leadership on regional pipeline health, occupancy trends, census growth, and business development opportunities.
What We're Looking For
MUST have extensive Regional Business Development experience in Skilled Nursing.
5+ years of business development or marketing leadership experience in skilled nursing.
At least 2 years of experience managing a team across multiple facilities.
Proven track record of growing census and managing multi-site referral territories.
Strong working knowledge of managed care, Medicaid eligibility processes, and post-acute referral pathways.
Experience with CRM/referral management systems and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of the skilled nursing and post-acute healthcare market.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout Pennsylvania.
Compensation & Bonus
Base Salary: $120,000–$135,000 annually
Bonus Structure: Up to $15,000 annually
