Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off, day shift (08:00 - 18:00), 4x10-hour shifts. 13-week assignment with approximately 10 patient visits per day and a daily census of 20 patients.
Highlights:
- Inpatient rehabilitation setting working with adult and geriatric populations
- Comprehensive dysphagia management including bedside swallow evaluations and videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS)
- Treatment of diverse patient diagnoses including CVA, TBI, dementia, neurodegenerative diseases, and post-extubation/tracheostomy patients
- Interdisciplinary team support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
- First-time travelers welcome
- One pre-approved time off period available
Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Active Idaho state SLP license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- MBSImP (Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile) certification required
- VitalStim certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations, VFSS interpretation, cognition, and speech/language therapy
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
