Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab
Pocatello, Idaho
We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week inpatient rehab contract in Pocatello, Idaho. This opportunity is a great fit for an SLP with strong medical experience who is comfortable working with swallowing, cognition, and speech/language disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
This position offers a unique 7-on / 7-off day schedule and is open to first-time travelers.

Responsibilities
- Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
- Complete bedside swallowing evaluations and instrumental swallow assessments.
- Treat dysphagia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, and speech/language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding swallowing safety and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PT, OT, and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
Requirements
- Idaho SLP license required at time of submission.
- CCC-SLP required.
- BLS required.
- MBSImP certification required.
- VitalStim certification required.
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and VFSS required.
- Must be comfortable treating cognition and speech/language disorders.
- No local candidates within 50 miles.
