Traveling Construction Superintendent

The Traveling Construction Superintendent leads on-site project teams for commercial building projects delivered through construction management. This role shares project oversight with the Project Manager, reports to the Project Manager and Director of Construction, and travels regionally between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise commercial construction projects and on-site project teams.
• Coordinate site activities and project stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules and monitor milestones.
• Oversee job-site safety and support OSHA compliance.
• Maintain quality control throughout construction.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Prepare progress reports for project leadership.
• Conduct inspections and address project issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction supervision experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Construction scheduling experience.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and quality control.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
