Dietary Aide – Part-Time

Schedule: Part-Time | Daytime Hours | 4 Shifts Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

About the Role

High Point Residence Taylorville is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services team.

In this role, you will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment, and help create a positive dining experience for our residents each day.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work daytime shifts, including every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous food service, restaurant, healthcare, or senior living experience

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to established menus and dietary requirements

• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meal service

• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas

• Stock and rotate food, beverages, and supplies as needed

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents

• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and fellow team members

• Assist the dietary team with additional duties as needed
