Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) in Eureka, California. This role involves supporting coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia procedures, including diagnostic and interventional tasks such as angioplasty and pacemaker placements. The position offers an opportunity to work within a highly-rated acute care hospital facility renowned for its excellence in coronary intervention.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Qualifications: ARRT*, Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, ACLS*. RCIS not accepted. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization labs, with a valid compact state license or pending application.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid angiography, central venous access/port placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, embolization, endovascular interventions, equipment setup, fluoroscopy, implantable device programming, hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker insertion, vascular stent placement, and other specialized procedures within the cath lab.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, electrophysiology, TIPS procedures, and interventional radiology. Prior OR/ir experience and familiarity with Epic charting system are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with accurate monitoring, and interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertions. Providers may be required to float between nearby facilities, and candidates must be willing to work up to four call shifts per week.
