CT Technologist Shift Information
Shifts: 10 hour Varied shifts
Minimum Years of Experience3.0 years
Certifications/Requirements- General Certifications: BLS/BCLS
- Allied Health Certifications: ARRT (CT)
All travelers not currently holding an active Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license must apply upon acceptance of the offer. Candidates must obtain the Hawaii license before the start of the assignment.
No requests for time off (RTO) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
Proof of flu vaccination or an approved application for medical or religious exemption must be provided prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.
LicensureMust possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
CertificationCandidates must have a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ShiftsShifts may vary based on needs. There is no on-call requirement.
General RequirementsA minimum of three (3) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is required. Candidates must be capable of performing CT scans according to radiologist protocols, conduct routine scans, and operate independently without supervision. Preferred experience includes:
- Meditech EMR
- Canon/Toshiba CT units
- Vitrea workstation
- Venipuncture
- Performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
- Procedures such as biopsies or drainages
- Vascular or cardiac imaging
- Trauma or stroke imaging
