Bulk Gas Driver - CDL - Home Every Night!

Become part of our exceptional transportation team as a Class A CDL Bulk Gas Truck Driver, delivering liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon to customer locations in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. You will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries while maintaining safe and efficient vehicles. This “home daily” position is ideal for the experienced tanker driver with strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and a desire to take ownership of an important regional route. Hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements are required, along with a clean MVR.

• In conjunction with the Corporate Transportation Manager, review gas levels and determine daily delivery priorities
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor, tanker, valves, pressure relief systems, and insulation integrity
• Perform quality analysis and prepare documentation
• Safely deliver inert gas products to customer locations
• Connect hoses, fill, and monitor pressure/flow rates on company tanker and customer bulk tanks (venting as needed) according to safety guidelines
• Verify delivery quantities, obtain necessary signatures from vendors and customers while communicating respectfully and professionally to all business associates
• Monitor customer gas levels and utilize company’s telemetry systems, TrackAbout, and other systems
• Report mechanical issues to manager, ensuring the tanker and tractor are roadworthy, and coordinate the maintenance of vehicles as needed
• Resolve issues pertaining to route and operations and notify manager of problems that you cannot resolve
• Participate in safety meetings and in the company’s Safety Program, helping to ensure that DOT and other safety requirements are met
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
