Job Description
- Hybrid
- Engineer automotive‑connected electro‑mechanical systems using embedded processors, sensing, and control logic
- Create and debug mixed‑signal hardware from schematics through PCB layout and board bring‑up
- Implement and maintain wired and wireless interfaces including USB, UART, I2C, CAN, Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular, and IoT integrations
- Collaborate across disciplines to translate requirements into designs and deliver iteratively in agile workflows
- Integrate custom electronics with commercial hardware while managing configuration, documentation, and product lifecycle
- Develop validation strategies, build test fixtures, troubleshoot failures with root‑cause analysis, and coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve production issues
- 10+ years in electronics design and hardware development
- Proficiency in PCB layout, schematic creation, and manufacturing documentation
- Understanding of automotive or vehicle‑related electronic systems
- Experience with embedded communication protocols such as USB, UART, I2C, CAN, Bluetooth, WiFi, and OBD‑II
- Familiarity with PLM tools, with Arena experience preferred
- Effective collaboration with manufacturing and test teams in production environments
