Field Integrator (Ericsson)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support physical cabinet consolidation, including the relocation of BBUs, Hybrid Cables, GPS components and SPDs from legacy cabinets into Ericsson 6160 cabinets on live site locations.
• Perform commissioning and integration of Ericsson Baseband units (BB 6630 / 6648 / 6651 / 6672) via Ericsson Element Manager (EEM) or CLI.
• Execute IXRe router upgrades, verifying SFP optics, VLAN tagging, SFP power levels, and port mapping prior to cutover when needed.
• Coordinate AAV (Alternative Access Vendor) circuit cutovers and perform ping/latency/routing tests with remote NOC and transport engineering teams.
• Perform sector-level call testing, troubleshoot and clear alarms, and submit final TMO closeout packages (COP).

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience on T-Mobile Anchor or Cabinet Consolidation projects.
• Proven experience with Ericsson hardware suites, BCP scripting, and IXR-e transport cutovers.
• Strong troubleshooting capability in SFP optical power mismatches, duplex autonegotiation, and transport rollbacks.
