Job Description
Mobile Digital Billboard Driver
Spring / Katy / The Woodlands / Cypress / Houston, Texas
We are a mobile digital advertising company looking for a dependable, professional driver to operate a large LED billboard truck throughout the Houston area.
This is not a delivery position. Your primary responsibility is to safely operate the vehicle along predetermined advertising routes while making sure campaigns are displayed properly and the truck remains clean and professional.
The Truck
You will be driving a commercial cab-over truck.
The truck features:
- Three large LED digital billboard screens, one on each side and one on the rear
- Commercial cab-over design with excellent forward visibility

- Gasoline-powered truck engine
- Large, permanently mounted billboard enclosure
Approximate Vehicle Size:
- Length: approximately 24–26 feet
- Width: approximately 8–8.5 feet
- Height: approximately 11–12 feet
Because of the size and height of the vehicle, applicants should be comfortable driving a commercial-size box truck and paying close attention to turning clearance, overhead clearance, parking areas, narrow lanes, and surrounding traffic.
A CDL is not required for this position.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the mobile LED billboard truck along predetermined routes throughout Houston and surrounding areas
- Follow scheduled routes, campaign times, and designated high-traffic locations
- Safely operate and park the vehicle in accordance with company procedures and traffic laws
- Start, shut down, and monitor the onboard digital billboard and generator systems
- Confirm advertisements are displaying correctly before and during each shift
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Monitor fuel levels, generator operation, and general equipment condition
- Pay close attention to vehicle height, width, turns, overhead obstacles, and clearance
- Keep the truck clean and presentable
- Take occasional photos or videos of campaigns while safely parked
- Report mechanical, electrical, screen, or advertising issues
- Use GPS and company tracking applications to document completed routes
- Professionally represent the company while operating the vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean and insurable driving record
- Comfortable operating a commercial-size vehicle
- Dependable transportation to and from the vehicle location
- Strong attention to safety and surroundings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, and basic mobile applications
- Able to follow specific routes and schedules
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Basic mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus, but not required
Previous experience driving box trucks, moving trucks, commercial vehicles, delivery trucks, shuttle vehicles, RVs, or similarly sized vehicles is strongly preferred.
