Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician – 24-Hour Call | Hazard, KY

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for two blocks of inpatient, call-only locum tenens coverage in Hazard, Kentucky.

Assignment Highlights

• Pay Ranking: Top 10%
• $3,000 per 24-hour call
• $4,000 per 24-hour holiday call
• No clinic
• Concentrated 24-hour call coverage
• Thanksgiving and Christmas blocks available
• Approximately 250 deliveries annually
• Approximately 2 patients seen per call period
• Approximately 2 admissions
• 30-minute response requirement
• MediTech EMR
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Kentucky license or IMLC pathway

Coverage Dates

Thanksgiving Block:
11/24/26 orientation through 11/30/26 at 7:00 AM

Christmas Block:
12/22/26 orientation through 12/28/26 at 7:00 AM

Candidates may be considered based on availability for one or both blocks.

Position Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Kentucky license or IMLC pathway
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and ABLS
• Comfortable with routine and complicated deliveries
• C-sections
• VBACs
• Breech deliveries
• Multiple births
• Fetal heart rate interpretation
• OB ultrasound
• Third- and fourth-degree laceration repair
• Required gynecologic procedures
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes
