Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: A basic Med/Tele skill set is required, including cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), wound care, drain/tube management, PIV starts, central line management, etc.
Special Requests: Up to 6 days off can be approved, excluding holidays; time must be added to the end of the contract if contracted hours cannot be met.
Unit Details: Common patient types and diagnoses include total joint replacements, colon resection, gallbladder, appendectomy, amputations, medical overflow, hip fractures, SBO, and NG tubes. RN ratios are 1:4-6 on days and 1:5-6 on nights; surge staffing may result in ratios up to 1:7-8. The unit uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation is every other weekend. There is a possibility of low-census call, and the clinician can be called back up to 3a for nights and up to 3p for days. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. The schedule cycle is every 6 weeks.
Floating Requirements: The clinician will be required to float, as needed based on regional needs, to all facilities in Region 3—Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, and Central Division (CMC Main, Mercy, and LCH)—within scope of practice.

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
