Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
• High School completion preferred.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Former San Diego (including Temecula) residents must have permanent residence established outside of SD county (including Temecula) for a minimum of 1y. Must not be working in SD for 1 year in order to apply as a traveler.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of three years as a scrub person in a hospital setting.
Required Credentials: Clinicians must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a California Registered Nurse (RN) license from the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
Preferred Credentials: Minimum of high school education preferred. Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on the job training.
Special Requests: If worked at Sharp for 0-6 months must wait at least 6 months before returning. If worked at Sharp for 6-12 months must wait at least 12 months before returning.
Unit Details: Anticipates needs before and during each case, including assisting with dressings and/or cast application at the end of the procedure. Picks cases following the physician preference card. Signs the count before the patient leaves the room and counts with the relief person when appropriate. Counts towel clips, Allis, and Ednas per procedure and is accountable for complete instrumental trays. Updates the surgeon preference card per entity-specific processes.
Shift & Scheduling: Works additional or different shifts as requested and where appropriate.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
