Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 prior travel assignment. Required skills include diagnostic catheterizations in adults, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, permanent pacemaker insertion (PPI), scrub procedures, temporary pacemaker procedures, stocking supplies, circulating procedures, insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, aortography, pelvic angiography, pulmonary arteriography, stent placement, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), upper and lower extremity angiography, fluoroscopy, accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access-site preparation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulating, maintaining a sterile field, sterile technique, use of the rapid response team, and isolation precautions.

Required Credentials: Will accept ARRT or RCIS.

Special Requests: Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include CAD, PVD, and cancer. Special procedures include interventional peripheral, diagnostic cardiovascular, bone marrow harvest, and interventional pulmonary procedures. The work setting is a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shift times are 06:30-05:00 and/or 07:00-5:30. No call. No weekend shifts. No shifts on the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)
