Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent role with an outpatient healthcare client in Annandale, VA. The clinician will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs, operating radiation detection and imaging equipment, performing patient imaging procedures, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining accurate records.


Minimum Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Virginia.
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, if applicable to state requirements.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred. Experience with PET imaging required or strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and using gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and radiation detection equipment.
  • Familiarity with radiation safety protocols, ALARA principles, and dose documentation.
  • Experience working in an outpatient imaging environment preferred.
