Pharmacy Technician

Contract Only: October 2026 – March 31, 2027
Pay: $19.00-$22/hour
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Schedule: Pharmacy is open 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday–Saturday
Schedule Flexibility: Shifts vary from week to week; several consecutive Saturdays may be required

Job Summary

The Culinary Pharmacy Technician supports daily pharmacy operations by providing excellent customer service and assisting with prescription processing and fulfillment under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role involves prescription preparation, inventory management, data entry, claims support, and maintaining accurate pharmacy records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, package, and fulfill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, members, providers, and clinic staff.
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient, prescription, and inventory information.
  • Receive, stock, store, and replenish medications and pharmacy supplies.
  • Process medication orders and assist with rejected claims and resolution.
  • Support medication dispensing activities, including unit-dose, injectable, IV, and related products as permitted by state law.
  • Maintain proper medication storage conditions, including refrigeration requirements.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain pharmacy documentation and records.
  • Assist with pharmacy equipment monitoring and routine maintenance.
  • Perform medication and supply deliveries as needed.
  • Follow all federal, state, and company pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately enter and maintain patient and prescription information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts and multiple consecutive Saturdays.
  • Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must comply with applicable pharmacy technician requirements and regulations.
