Civil Litigation Attorney

Location: Orlando, FL - Downtown

A well-established, client-focused litigation and trial firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its collaborative team in Orlando.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation, excellent legal writing skills, and hands-on experience with depositions, hearings, case preparation, and litigation strategy.

Candidates with product liability experience are encouraged to apply, although it is not required.

• 1-8 years of litigation experience

• Strong foundation in civil litigation

• Knowledge of applicable Rules of Civil Procedure

• Experience taking and/or defending depositions

• Experience attending hearings

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Experience with case preparation and litigation strategy

• Exposure to liability matters

• Excellent client communication and reporting skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a litigation team

• Product liability experience is a plus but not required

• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case reviews

• Assist with developing litigation strategies and case tactics

• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents

• Communicate with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy

• Assist with case preparation and overall litigation management

• Work closely with attorneys and team members on complex litigation matters

• Maintain thorough preparation and attention to detail throughout each case
