Road Warrior Staffing is hiring a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver for a full-time, hands-on delivery position based in Omaha, Nebraska.
This position involves delivering medical and home-furnishing freight to commercial and residential customers, including stores, warehouses, and other customer locations. Drivers are responsible for both driving and handling freight, making this an excellent opportunity for CDL A drivers who prefer an active, customer-facing delivery position.
Routes vary based on daily freight needs and may remain in the Omaha area or extend into Iowa and South Dakota.
Drivers should be comfortable with 100% touch freight, pallet jack operation, residential and commercial deliveries, and occasional assembly or disassembly of products. Training is provided for specialized delivery requirements.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No regular weekend work
Rural routes may require earlier start times or later finishes
Overtime may be available depending on freight volume
Overtime is not currently guaranteed
Approximately 3 weeks to 1 month of training may be required before a truck becomes available
Pay
$28.00–$29.00 per hour

Duties
Safely operate an automatic Class A tractor.
Complete assigned delivery routes throughout Omaha and surrounding areas.
Deliver medical and home-furnishing freight to commercial and residential customers.
Make deliveries to stores, warehouses, businesses, and residential locations.
Load and unload freight from the assigned tractor and trailer.
Perform 100% touch freight handling.
Safely move palletized freight using a pallet jack.
Use a dolly when appropriate for deliveries.
Safely handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
Complete residential and commercial deliveries professionally and efficiently.
Perform assembly or disassembly for certain premier deliveries when required.
Follow provided training and procedures for specialized deliveries.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
Complete required vehicle inspections.
Follow applicable DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
Report freight, equipment, delivery, or customer issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Valid Class A CDL.
Professional tractor-trailer driving experience.
Ability to safely operate an automatic tractor.
Ability to perform hands-on freight handling.
Ability to load and unload freight using a pallet jack.
Ability to safely handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to complete commercial and residential deliveries.
Ability to work Monday–Friday.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Ability to meet applicable DOT, company, and insurance requirements.
Preferred Experience
CDL A delivery driving experience.
Touch-freight delivery experience.
Residential or commercial delivery experience.
Furniture or home-furnishing delivery experience.
Medical equipment or medical freight delivery experience.
Experience operating pallet jacks and dollies.
Customer-facing delivery experience.
Experience with assembly or installation is helpful but not required.

Training & Interview Process
New drivers should expect approximately 3 weeks to 1 month of training before a truck becomes available.

Tuesday and Thursday are preferred interview days.
