Contract | Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment
• Float to the Emergency Room as needed — this role requires comfort working both Med Surg and ER, as patient volume and acuity will vary by shift
• Manage patient ratios typically around 3:1, with a maximum of 5:1
• Collaborate with a team that includes a second nurse, one aide, and one staff secretary per shift
• Document patient care using Athena EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — all certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability and willingness to work both Medical Surgical and Emergency Room assignments as needed
• No radius/mileage restrictions — locals are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered
• Familiarity with Athena EMR
• Experience in both Medical Surgical and Emergency Room settings
