Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 3 shifts/week including rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday for days)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
• Care for post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placement patients, and stroke patients
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
• Utilize facility EMR (Meditech), Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vitals equipment
• Float as needed to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in Missouri (or compact eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
• Experience with post-cath recovery (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, and cardiac drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience in a high-volume cardiac telemetry setting
