Travel RN – Neuro ICU / SICU – Nights

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Neurological ICU and Surgical ICU setting
• Manage and monitor critically ill trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of New York
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience encompassing trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patient populations
• Trauma Level One experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must successfully complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Candidates from ineligible local counties are not being accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity academic or teaching medical center environment
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in fast-paced ICU settings
• Familiarity with complex neurological and post-surgical patient management
