Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 0630–1700 (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a 3-suite CVOR environment handling approximately 30 cases per day, including 1–2 open heart cases daily
• Assist with common procedures including open heart surgery, TAVR, open and endovascular cases, and thoracic procedures
• Perform limited scrub duties as needed, including holding the heart and assisting with chest closure
• Participate in weekday call coverage (one weekday per week) and weekend call rotation (one weekend per month, Friday through Sunday)
• Float to the General OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled, and as needed within the facility zone on an as-needed basis
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Open heart surgical experience and/or endovascular experience required
• Must be available and present in-state for the full one-week unit orientation
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with TAVR procedures and thoracic cases
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Availability for holiday call coverage is preferred, though not required
