Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Thomasville, GA | Intermediate Care / Stepdown Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekends and Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Stepdown setting
• Perform IV starts and lab draws / sample collecting
• Titrate critical drips and monitor patient responses
• Utilize intermediate fetal monitoring skills as applicable to unit needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Complete up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be obtained prior to start; candidates with a pending license must provide proof that the process is underway)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum one year of recent Critical Care or ICU experience
• Experience titrating critical drips
• Minimal to no requested time off; flexibility around holidays is expected
• Must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• 3+ years of critical care or stepdown experience
