Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient care functions in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
• Operate under the supervision of the Unit Director and receive direct shift supervision from the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
• Provide nursing care to surgical and orthopedic patients in an inpatient setting
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Function as a collaborative team player while maintaining flexibility in scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience
• MOAB or CPI certification
