Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Varied)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with EDIS/Medhost EMR system
• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department environment
• Strong ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–6 effectively
